ThUMB’s Summer School in Philosophy of the Life Sciences: Molecular Biology and Evolution (funded by Croatian Science Foundation) was held from 15th to 18th July at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Rijeka. Hereby, ThUMB team wishes to thank the following keynote speakers: Agnes Bolinska (University of Cambridge, UK), Sahotra Sarkar (University of Texas at Austin, USA), Dan Nicholson (Konrad Lorenz Institute, Austria), James DiFrisco (KU Lueven, Belgium), Tudor Baetu (University of Quebec in Trois-Rivieres, Canada) and Tomislav Domazet-Lošo (Ruđer Bošković Institute, Croatia) for their interesting, inovative and inspiring talks. It was a real pleasure to host you all!

We would also like to thank all the participants (docs and post-docs) of our summer school for their talks and research presentations , as well as for their overall contribution to discussions and the quality of our summer school. Our researches were surely improved through various discussions and talks throughout these 4 days. Hopefully, we will see each other again on some other events within the ThUMB project.
