Aleksandar V. Božić delivered the talk “Gánti’s chemoton model of the fundamental unit of life and informational vs. causal notions in biology” at the 15th Conference of the Italian Society for Analytic Philosophy (SIFA) titled “Who is Afraid of Philosophy? New Challenges for Contemporary Society”. In this talk, Aleksandar presented the chemoton model of the fundamental unit of life within the framework of the debate on informational talk vs. causal talk in the philosophy of biology. The conference was held at the University of Eastern Piedmont, Alessandria, September 7 to 9, 2023.
